• What are TÄNDA's candles made of?

TANDA uses 100% pure soy wax, natural woven cotton wicks and high quality fragrance and essential oils.

We prefer pure soy as it ensures a complete lack of toxins, and is so safe that it can be used as a moisturiser. It also burns at a lower temperature than other waxes, which means it is able to deliver a wider ranging scent and a much longer burn time.

• How long do TÄNDA candles burn for?

TÄNDA's candles are all designed with longevity in mind.

Each of our candles have a significantly longer burn time than many other brands, due to our use of soy wax and woven cotton wicks.

When used correctly, your candles should burn as follows:

Small - expected burn time of approximately 30 hours

Medium - expected burn time of approximately 50 hours

Triple - expected burn time of approximately 70 hours

Melts - expected total scent diffusion time of 60 hours 

• How do you burn TÄNDA candles correctly?

In order to achieve the longest, most even burn, all of your TÄNDA candles should be burned for roughly 4 hours each time.

This ensures that your candle's melt pool will reach all sides of the glass, and will burn evenly as a result. Candles have a memory of sorts, and will burn to the same point previously reached.

Ensure that your candle is burned in a space free from draughts.

When not burning, keep your candles away from direct sunlight, and in a cool, stable temperature.

Before lighting each time, ensure that the blackened wick is trimmed or pinched off lightly.

• Why does my candle look odd?

When TANDA candles are made, all efforts are made to ensure you receive an attractive, well made candle.

Only ideal candles are sent out, however due to some uncontrollable circumstances (such as temperature during postage, time taken to be delivered and so on), your candle may appear to have some air bubbles against the jar.

This is unfortunate, however it is a common occurrence in candles and does not negatively impact the scent or burn time of the candle.

• Are TÄNDA products eco-friendly?

All of TÄNDA's products are made with the environment in mind. Our candles are all entirely vegan friendly, and our packaging uses recycled card and paper. 

All of TÄNDA's glassware is recycled, and can continue to be re-used once your candle or diffuser is finished.

• How long will my Fragrance Diffuser last?

TÄNDA's Fragrance Diffuser has a scent diffusion time of approximately 6 months, however this is dependent on room size, location, and the way in which you use it.

In order to achieve the best results, reeds should be initially submerged for 24 hours, and then flipped.

Each time you notice that your scent has dissipated, flip the reeds over once again to re-stimulate the fragrance.
